As many of you know, and more will know, I have recently discovered I have breast cancer. Already I am exhausted with the number of phone calls, and while I enjoy talking with each and everyone of you I realize that two things are occurring. One is that I am focusing so much energy on just keeping people updated I am neglecting taking care of the things that I must. The other is that in the process I am forgetting to call key people who I know are suffering as they wait to hear news. This journal will be my key to providing you with up to minute information as things unfold. It does not mean that I do not want to hear from you, as I very much do. It does mean that perhaps everyone will get the information they desire in a more timely manner. Please feel free to pass this journal information onto anyone who inquires. I have no secrets. God knows it would do me no good if I tried. Also, please feel free to post comments. With any luck, I can read this years from now and remember it as just a difficult period of my life, and marvel at all the support I received and all the love sent my way. Hugs to all who care.
